There’s a lot of different personalities in the “guru” business…

I’ve met passive-aggressives, dependents, narcissists, anti-socials, paranoids, obsessive-compulsives, and even the occasional masochist. (Don’t ask–I’m not naming names.)

But even though the personalities are different, there’s one thread that runs common among every successful internet marketer and business owner I’ve come in contact with.

A sense of urgency.

Successful entrepreneurs look at practically every moment of every day like a challenge–and they attack it accordingly. This high need for achievement motivates them to turn their ideas into action.

I’ve seen this not only in the internet marketing circles, but throughout the business world. People at the top of virtually every profession have an overwhelming desire to do whatever it takes to get things done.

Seems easy enough, right? Yet despite the simplicity of this concept, there is a perpetual shortage of people who excel at getting results.

These are the “passive” entrepreneurs. They live every day pursuing their dreams very safely and hoping something good will happen.

They never take a risk…never push the envelope…and therefore never realize the success they could achieve.

Ringing any bells here? Well, join the club. Because I’m not just talking out of my keister here–I’m a living, breathing example of a former passive personality.

You may not believe it, but it’s true. For more than 7 years, I cowered on the sidelines, waiting for the “magic formula” that would instantly transform me into a wealthy, successful business owner.

And guess what? It never came. It wasn’t until a mentor shook me from the doldrums and forced me to take that first step into the unknown that I started to see some serious results.

Why? Because successful people ACT from a sense of URGENCY.

Let me say that again…Successful people ACT from a sense of URGENCY.

There’s an URGENCY to accomplish tasks. There’s an URGENCY to live their dreams. There’s an URGENCY to get things done.

In other words, they’re not waiting for fate to drop success into their laps…they’re ATTACKING it with a vengeance and squeezing every last drop from it.

See the difference?

So today, I want you to do exactly what I did–ditch the passive nature and begin looking at your dreams with a SENSE OF URGENCY.

Ignite the spark inside that will cause you to grab the steering wheel and slam your success journey into high gear, accelerating your to productivity and action to new heights.

Tell yourself, “Today, I’m going to make a change and act from a sense of URGENCY. And these are the first 2 actions I’m going to take.“

Write them down on a piece of paper. Tape them to your computer screen or office wall. Post them below for everyone to see (and to be accountable for).

And then DO IT!

‘Nuf said.

This ability will supercede intelligence…talent…and even connections in determining how big you want your company to grow and how fast you want
to get there. I’ve seen it happen a thousand times.
