Alternative Marketing
Alternative Marketing
Hello friend,
How are you? I have just return from my trip from Batam not too long ago and missed the seafood there. Ha. Ha. So today what have I found on alternative marketing?
Did you notice that there are many new marketing strategy surface each day? This is so sacry. How I wish I have the time to test it all our. Nevertheless, let me explain 2 new strategy which I got emailed every day.
1. BUM marketing – Those who are already using this would be familar. Newbie, I would recommed you to use this method since you need to build your confidence before jumping into the boat/train. This method of marketing is free and should not cost you anything other than your time. What method to be used?
(i) Article Writing – You write an article on the product you going to promote and submit to heavily spidered ezine article directories. e.g ezinearticles.com
(ii) Placing classified ads – You write/copy sales letter into your classified ad and optimise the title (or you rather call the subject) with keyphase. Take note of your competition and make sure your keyphase appear a few times in your body and footer to give a higher keyphase density.
(iii) Forum – Go to forum related to your niche/products you are promoting. Ask a questions or find solution and ask other members questions. Don’t spam the forum. Always follow up with the question you have posted until the post looks exhuasted. Note: Some niches do not allow you to place your website url in the signature. The trick is to get people curious and pm you. Of course, if forum doee not bring you traffic then go for method 1 and 2.
P.S: I am using method 1,2 & 3 to drive traffic to this site. Hope you find this piece of information useful.

I use #1 and #3. I’ve, also, had some good results from Social Networking such as MySpace and MyBlogLog.
I’m just starting to look into Spicy Page, as well.
The best methods of drawing traffic for me have been commenting on linking to other blogs that are related to my own (as I’m doing here.)
