A common mistake people frequently make when choosing affiliate programs is choosing a program that offers small percentage reward for your hard work. There many affiliate programs pay very little and as a result you will find it difficult to make the money they would be making. Please look for an affiliate program that give you 50% or more.
#2 Lack Tracking System on Statistics
You want an affiliate program that offers good, solid, real time statistics for sales tracking. In the market, there are not many affiliate programs that provides the proper statistics for an affiliate manager to track sales. Always do your research by emailing the product creator.
#3 Lack of Support
Often affiliates would find themselves waiting days for an answer to an e-mail or an important question to be answered by the producr creator. You want to join an affiliate program that guarantees you support round the clock if possible or at least within 24 hours to 48 hours. If this criteria is not avaliable, keep looking for a program that can help you with your needs.
#4 Same Marketing Plan
Many affiliate programs provide few a ideas or creatives for their affiliates to sell their products. But there are thousands of similar web pages around and it end ups many affiliates are using the same advertising. You should create a marketing plan which is different from the rest. Affiliate programs with many different ads made would have a higher chance to succeed in their affiliates program. Remember to use your creativity. Do use the same marketing plan.
