Why A Personal Oriented Blog/Website Is Important?
Dear friend,
I have seen many wonderful blogs and the main ingredient for their success in just so simple. To be special. To personalised your blog. Everyone loves to be seen as special so does your blog. Adding personality to it will increase your readership for content and usabilty. You need to decide for yourself what kind of blog you are going to provide your visitor with. I was making the same mistake like what all newbie does. Mistakes like :
1. Using of automated blogging tools to update my site content. You need to becareful not all site are suitable for this. If you are in a highly competitive site, your unique stand point will help you win the game.
2. Not engaging the visitor, well it’s a bit vague but you need user participation. Content from article directories can never replace human touch. By cutting and pasting articles only shows you are building content, not necessary what the visitor wanted to see.
3. Commenting. I need to confess, I seldom comment of people’s blog but now I will delicate 1 hour each day to do commenting. Another trick which I guess most blogger dont know is all big blog started with self commenting. You must start commenting on your own blog. Using another name or adding updates to your blog. Don’t look at me like you just saw an alien. Most established forum started this way too. Don’t believe? Ask Michael Fortin.
4. Adding of graphic, audio or video. Yes, a picture tells a thousand word, a moving video tells a million word.
