Have you wonder how long would it take you to succeed online when you decided to do everything yourself? Have you heard of Rich Schefren ? Do you know this man actually help a company which is heavily in-debt and turn it  into a 3.5 million profit company in a year? How did he do it and what method did he used?

I have seen his 1 hour plus video presentation online over at whoisrichschefren.com and realise some mistake with I am currently making. Do watch it and you too will find it eye-opening for you.

Mistake #1 : Being a Jack of all Trade

I am working hard and thought by working harder, I would be able to pull in big profits from whichever project I’m working on. Wrong. The harder you work, the less time you will be spending to scale your business. No business can survive for long if you do not scale it up. In other words, you need to grow your business. When you involve yourself too much on technical stuff like web design, reading email,preparing ezines and writing articles plus many many other things, well endless things, you are not maximizing your time.

Mistake #2: Not knowing the meaning of Outsourcing

I always thought that by asking people to write aritcles/e-books for me is called outsoourcing. I am dead wrong. This is out-tasking. You can always out-task your projects but you never did understand outsourcing.  Rich pointed out that outsourcing is where you completely hand over the function to the person. Hands-off. This free up your time for more important activities like building list or finding JV partners. Only if you truely understand what is outsourcing, you will NEVER be able to grow your business online.

Mistake #3: Not doing income generating activites

You need to be doing income generating activites online. Write down the activites you do online the moment you on your pc/laptop. Just to give you some example of what is NOT income generating activites online in case you are still doing it just like me in the past.

• Writing Article yourself
• Reading emails
• Preparing ezines
• msn chat
• checking out latest store promotion
• eBay buying spree
• Reading ebooks

and many others. How I wish I know all these before I start my internet business. I would have speed up my success rate many fold. Do becare of what you do online. Is either productive time or unproductive time. No in-between.
