5 Step Bum Marketing Rollout – Demystify

Thanks for dropping by and I know I have been lazy to update here. Well, I am currently working on a brand new model to online marketing. I would be focusing on non-internet marketing niches. Nevertheless, the old or new principles still works like magic on new niches.
This morning, I saw an email from Travis (BUM Marketing) founder. He was talking about 5 step bum marketing rollout. Some what I find that he has left out the “How to” Perhaps to promote the new site (Rubix) .
Let me demystify the 5 steps here.
1. Write A Crap Load Of Articles
”…Now, here is the BIG FAT SECRET of step one, STOP worrying about how many sales you’ve made…and focus on WHAT PRODUCTS YOU SOLD and the NICHE (people with common interests)that has bought those products.
See, the magic is in the “hungry crowd”…the m-a-g-i-c is in the “niche”…So, all you are doing is looking for that HUNGRY CROWD that YOU KNOW will BUY!
How do you know they will buy?
Because you are getting those checks and sales from the articles you wrote…make sense? You aren’t fiddling with the overture keyword tool…or looking endlessly at Clickbank gravity…which is all just THEORY that they may buy.” …quoted from his website.

Well, he is saying you need to write article with keywords that target one niche. Write 100 articles with hundreds of targetted keywords. However, before you do so, you need to choose a niche that is hungry. This is the hard part. I would like to give you a simple way to do this. Go offline. Visit bookstore or local library. Look at the recommended reading or hot selling top 10. Those are the topics you should be targetting. Don’t be greedy just start with one. Advertisement fee have been paid for those hot seller. Target this niche. Warning: You are not going into topic which you love reading and some topics will bored you. “Who cares if my customer love to buy these book”
2. Write MORE articles in the niche you are ALREADY MAKING SALES IN.

Come on, face the fact. We only have 8 hours a day plus all the crap we have to put up with like taking care of the kids and sending dog for grooming. To do what he suggest, you need to outsource your article writing task. Nothing else. I rather be branded experted by my article writers that to brand myself. My finger hurts….8 hours of non-stop typing. Crazy! My indian friend would love to do this assignment to get his ass glued for a small fee.
3. Put up a simple website
(use the profits from the previous steps) With your own website you can place all of your articles that you have ALREADY written. You can also link from the VERY POWERFUL ezinearticles site to your site…which in some niches gets enough traffic on its own to generate sales….even without Google…”

Yes, I agree on the part we need a website but disagree on the part on goolge. YOU need google not matter what. What’s the share price of google now? $609.00 USD per share. Cool! There are thousands upon thousands of free website templates which you can use at http://www.oswd.org . Nope, I don’t earn any commission on this. Use it.
4. Start collecting opt-ins and emailing them AT LEAST two times a week.
“You don’t send them a pitch every time…you already know this…you rap with them about their problems and how you can help…and give them links to Youtube videos, articles and resources that they will enjoy and use.

The fact is again, you need to have a scheduler. More importantly to have a list, you need to know what they wanted to read about. For niches like internet marketing, you can send your list information twice every week but for other niches, you better not. Some niches you just need to send them once a month. Key thing is you need to have the energy to do follow up. Plan you sales campaign. What you going to do next month? Tell your customer first. Pre-sell them. Give them discount and make them take action.
5. You may NOT even need step 5! If you follow steps 1 – 4

START DOING ALL THE OTHER THINGS YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT!
The one time offers, the large back-end offers, producing your own products if you wish, Joint Ventures, thank you pages, video…etc…
Any one of those can multiply your profits. “

Never do a JV until you can produce result on your own. Yes, $300 a day is a nice figure to start with. Focus on promotion is the only thing you need to do. Let people find you. Have a great product and people will be attracted to you. Unless your product sucks! Why would people want to do JV with you?
Adding upsell, downsell and cross sell products to your main product do boost some sales. Your list must trust you first so building trust is a very important step. Forget about sales. Build trust. Give freebies so irresistible that they wanted to call you to thank you.
